The Dollar Energy Fund Hardship Program has helped thousands of individuals each year. In 2011,10,929 households were awarded utility assistance grants, giving them the opportunity to maintain or restore basic gas, electric or water service.
Dollar Energy Fund’s Hardship Program partners with utility companies who match every donation we receive. 100% of all donations are distributed to the less fortunate in the form of a utility assistance grant, which is applied directly to an accepted applicant’s utility bill(s).
